My name is Murphy and I’m an 8 year old cattle dog mix. I’m about 65 pounds and updated on my vaccines, heartguard, and have no existing health issues. I know a variety of tricks and am VERY smart. I would do best in a home without children or with older children. I do not get along with cats. I get along with dogs who are smaller than me. Sadly, my current family is having to look for me a new home as I am not doing well with the addition of their baby human. My current family thinks I may have a history of abuse prior to my adoption in 2017 which I have come a long way from. Despite undergoing training I am still not comfortable around children/babies.
I am a GREAT dog in the right environment. I am currently an indoor dog and crate trained but I also love the outdoors (especially if there are squirrels around). Please consider giving me a new home where I am not stressed!
